Storm's First Hat

Storm likes his new hat. It is made out of duct tape and a little bit of paper.
I tried to make it as light as possible, so it was not to heavy for his little head.

I made it with plain gray duct tape, checker board, mustaches,
and a little bit of penguin duct tape for the bow.

Duct tape bows are very easy to make. It was Probably the easiest thing I have made.

This is the inside of the hat. The hat can also be used as a little cup holder.

Garden Update

Today I went in to my green house and I noticed that there were 2 radishes that where ready to be pulled out, so I pulled them out and they looked like this:

I wanted to save the radish part for later so I just gave him just the greens!
We also gave him some rose petals-he loved all of it.
The wheat grass in my garden is doing well also.
Otherwise everything in my garden is doing fine.

We have radishes, turnips, beets, carrots, 3 kinds of lettuce,
collards, cilantro, dandelion, garlic, onion all growing in our winter greenhouse.

Christmas Bunny

Storm has been loving laying under the Christmas tree since we got it
but it gives my cat punkin a new idea on how to hunt Storm.

Storm loves the lights we put on the tree, so we had to make sure they
were not on the ground so he could not chew on them.

We put all the soft and puffy ornaments on the bottom, so if they fell they would not break.                       On the bottom, Storm can enjoy the ornaments too!

Storm can't wait for Christmas!

Christmas with Bunnies

This year is going to be Storm's first Christmas and I don't really know how healthy the pine tree would be  for him; so I did some research.

One thing you should do to your Christmas tree is to leave 2 bottom rows with no lights on them, so that your bunny can't chew on the light bulbs.

If you have a free range bunny and you can't watch them all the time, you should get something to cover the base of the Christmas tree, because you don't want your bunny drinking the water from the tree.

Where all the main cords come together, you might want to put them in a small box, that you can fit under the tree so your bunny's sharp teeth won't chew the cords and hurt them. Make sure the box has a lid to keep bunny out, because I know Storm likes to go in boxes and hop on them. If all the cords can't fit in the box just wrap them in a towel.

If you like to use a tree skirt and now you have a bunny, don't use a tree skirt. You will have to put it away within minutes because bunny might poop, pee-pee, nip, dig and tear at it.  You will probably want to just put down an old beach towel.

Your bun will love laying under the Christmas tree with  your wrapped presents, but bunny will  try to chew on the wrapping paper, which can be toxic.  Keep presents off the ground and don't let bunny eat them.
