Bunny Boredom Breakers

Some days when I watch Storm hop around, I wonder if he is bored or not. So we decided to make Storm a little playground. We bought Storm some little toys like a bunny tunnel and a binky mat. We also found some things from around the house like card board boxes, toilet paper rolls, and an apple stick off one of our trees.

One thing I like to do with Storm is to sit on the couch and sit with him. Then I watch him hop around. Storm also likes to hop around the fire place. We have a screen around the opening of the fire place so Storm can't get into the ashes. Even though it is almost summer and is getting hot in the after noons Storm found a new interest bunny parkour it is very cute, he will jump from love sack to love sack then to the couch or table and then to the fire place and last to the ground again. Sometimes Storm will keep going after that.

Storm's Anniversary

Storm's anniversary is this week and I am happy because that means I have had him for one year! I have had one fabulous year with Storm and I have gone a long way, and that includes this blog. Storm has also gone a long way, he has gone to Zion, turned into me, and started a garden. This year I am hoping Storm will have many more adventures and learn more about himself and bunnies. I hope this year will be even more fun then last year to I have learned a lot but there is still more

Beat The Heat

For Storm every summer is super hot and miserable for him. If you want to keep to keep your bunny cool during the summer you should put him in the coolest room in the house where he can just flop down on the floor the coolest thing for Storm in my house is the tile in the bathroom so he will usually flop down there or lay down on the hard wood floor with a ice pack, or if you don't have any til in your house you can lay down ceramic tiles to keep the cool and to make the super cold you can put them in the freezer first. If you don't want to give your bunny an ice pack  you could fill up a plastic water  bottle and put it in their cage to help it stay cool in there. The best thing to do during the summer is give your bunny cool water everyday and keep him/her out of the sun. You could also mist their ears with a spray bottle because the rabbits ears regulate their body temperate and make sure you are giving your rabbit lots of fresh greens. You also want to groom your bunny everyday to get rid of the extra hair or if you have a long haired bunny think of maybe giving it a hair cut for the summer.

Storm's First Hat

Storm likes his new hat. It is made out of duct tape and a little bit of paper.
I tried to make it as light as possible, so it was not to heavy for his little head.

I made it with plain gray duct tape, checker board, mustaches,
and a little bit of penguin duct tape for the bow.

Duct tape bows are very easy to make. It was Probably the easiest thing I have made.

This is the inside of the hat. The hat can also be used as a little cup holder.
