Sorry guys but I am going to stop writing this blog. Storm Died August 21st the first day of Autumn.
I am sorry I did not say sooner I just could not bring myself to write about it.
I know that you're an adult now there was just something about the way that you had expressed so maturely and so as a matter of fact it storm died and when I read it even though it is now 2023 I had to just reach out to you and tell you that I can remember I lost my dog of 14 years and I remember posting on Facebook paper died today and that happened in 2014 a long time ago as well but when I read that post didn't matter how many years have passed I could still feel that pain in my heart and I don't know I just wanted to reach out and tell you that it doesn't matter how long it's been you created something where that he lives on I'm sure it's been a while since you really thought about it after so many years past it's like it just passes through your mind just ever so often but you still feel the love and you still feel the pain from the loss but I was just searching on things about bunnies because I have a little wild cottontail that showed up I'm in my yard have been attacked by a dog and she had a broken leg hurt one of her bones was actually sticking out of the skin right above her ankle at her hind foot and the doctor said that it was anything they could do with that small of a bone she was a wild rabbit she was still little just to go ahead and euthanizer but I couldn't do that she wanted to eat she didn't Express pain as far as the way that rabbits do and she didn't move around a lot when she was little but she ate and she seemed like she had this will to live and I wasn't going to take that away from her as long as she wasn't in pain and suffering I was going to continue to feed and care for her until either she did pass on on her own and I was able to let her go well according to the internet I shouldn't have held her much I shouldn't have done most of the things that I've done with the rabbits that I found but I just kind of wanted to let you know if you're still around and you still read this but I wanted to send it anyway just in case and tell you that with this little rabbit I held her in my bra and I slept with her at night right up against my leg and the rabbits that I have found over the years that showed up injured or couldn't apparently find their way back to their nest the ones I left alone and didn't touch and just put in a box and fed they usually passed away however when I started doing the opposite and I started keeping them close to me and and there's a few things that they suggest you not to do but for the most part everyone that I have seem to do the opposite on I have managed to let go after about 5 weeks and I don't know how they're doing in the wild but I know that they were happy to go and they at least had a chance this way but with the little cottontail I have right now I had no plans on keeping her because she's not a pet she's a wild animal however she didn't have function of her foot she could hop but her toes did not work she at one point to go to infection and I did not know exactly what to give her but after doing a little research I found a lady that had some pills I got a couple from her and didn't know how much to give of that cuz she was so little but she feels I do not know how because it wasn't of anything of my doing it had to have been just a God thing and her will to live but now she hops around she jumps she runs please she's been living in here in my bedroom and runs around in her playpen in the den and she's been with me now for probably about 6 months there was a overlap in a Time issue where she wasn't healed healthy and fast enough to release but she was getting older and she was getting past the point of the five weeks where she started getting her instincts in her wildness back comes to me when I call her and I came across your blog because I was looking up things about bunny rabbits and things to do to make them happy and then I see you and start reading your blog and of course the first one that I saw was the one that really struck me and I just hoped that you might be able to see this and know that I know who Storm is because of you
