Storm Goes to Zion

Storm Goes to Zion
This is the story of the time Storm went to Zion National Park. The day before I was about to leave for Zion, with my grandparents and my cousin, I switched places with Storm for a second time. Now, Storm is me again and I am him. It was pretty disappointing, but it would be a great thing to write about when I got back into my own body.

It was a good thing I already packed and was ready to go to Zion. One thing was when Storm was in my body he could talk like me, the thing was when I was in Storm's body no one ever knew I was Storm.

Today is the day Storm will go to Zion. He will have to spend about 8 hours in the car; but he has my book, iPod, nook, and a pillow, so he could take a nap. Once he got there he settled into the hotel; then went on the scenic drive through the park. It was the last day you could do it in your own car. The next day he would have to take the shuttle. They also drove through the 1 mile long tunnel and took a little hike to a look out over the valley. Once they were done it was time to eat dinner. They ate at the Flying Monkey. The restaurant served pizza, salads, all sorts of deserts, sandwiches, and noodles. Once Storm, my cousin, and my grandparents got back to the hotel it was really late so they all went to bed.

The next morning they went to the Visitor center to hop on the shuttle to the Hidden Canyon trail. Once the shuttle got there all of them got off. Half way through the hike it started to hail, it was very small hail though. They got pretty high up the trail and my cousin Ruby and Storm found a pocket filled with hail. They started to make snowballs out of it, then they threw them at my grandpa (Bubba) and the rocks.

After hiking Hidden Canyon Storm, my cousin Ruby, and my grandparents went to the lodge to get some lunch.  After they would go on another hike. After lunch it started to rain so they went to the museum of Zion and watched a little movie about Zion. When the movie was over, they looked around the museum. It stopped raining so they walked back to the Visitor center. When they got there they looked around the gift shop and found the post card my grandparents bought when they where there a couple years ago. Since there was a really long line Storm, Ruby and my grandma (Nana) drove back to the hotel. Once my grandpa bought the post cards, he walked all the way back to the hotel. While my grandpa was walking back Storm,Ruby, and my grandma swam in the hot tube and pool. Once we were all done, we went back to our room and took showers and baths since we had just swam in a pool; and hot tub and the both had a lot of chlorine. Then we ate our dinner and went to bed.

The next day was the last day in Zion because the next day they were coming home. the last day they hiked Angel's Landing. Ruby and Storm made it to the top and almost made it back but the walk backward for at least a 1/4 of a mile. By the time they made it back it started to snow on the top of Angel's Landing. Since it was raining and snowing the rest of the day they did not do anymore hiking. They just went back to their hotel. They ate lunch in their hotel and watched tv the rest of the day.

In the morning they started to pack up the car and get ready to leave Zion, the car had a little layer of ice. On the way home they played lots of games like humming a song, counting up to 100 just using license plates and signs, and one word stories. It took 8 hours to get back home. They went to my grandparents house but when they got there, my mom was already up there. They stayed for a while, then came home. The next day I woke up and I was me again and Storm was Storm again, and I know this because Storm told me all about his trip to Zion.

The End
This did actually happen I did go to Zion with my cousin and grandparents.
